My journey towards advocating for women's birthing rights began with my own traumatic experiences. Uninformed and feeling powerless in my first four pregnancies, I felt trapped in a system that prioritized convenience over my autonomy.
Determined to reclaim control, I educated myself on birthing options and connected with midwives and doulas who shared my vision. Despite facing resistance and ridicule, I persisted. It was my fifth birth that finally allowed me to bring my baby girl into this world on my terms, surrounded by a team of empowering and bold women who supported us.
This transformative experience left me determined to advocate for women's birthing rights. No woman should feel forced into unnecessary medical interventions or denied the opportunity to birth in the way that feels right for her.
Through education, support, and community, I hope to empower others to claim their birthing experiences.

My own path to motherhood was filled with both joy and challenges. While I experienced a manageable pregnancy and had an exceptionally loving partner by my side, my labor and delivery didn’t go as planned.
Raising a newborn was enough of a challenge, but the recovery from my mis-handled labor added a weight I did not know if I could carry on my own. I focused on taking it all one hour at a time, and sought out help. That’s when I met Micah. She opened my mind - and more importantly my heart - to what compassion in motherhood can do. This flourished into meeting an incredible network of mothers. We rallied around one another and I found myself healing in ways I didn’t expect.
Their support not only helped me recover, but also showed me the power that can come from the right people. It was through this experience that I realized what was possible in a community rooted in love.
